| Craig was born
in Johannesburg, South Africa, 1961. He studied at the University
of Miami School of Business and Law, earning his Bachelor's
Degree in Business Administration in 1983 and his Juris Doctor
with Honors in 1986. Craig was admitted to the Florida Bar
in 1986 and thereafter to the trial and bankruptcy bars of
the U.S. Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida
and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.
Craig began his legal career with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey
in 1986, where he was part of the firm's International Litigation
and Arbitration Section, and left in 1993 to become a founding
member of this law firm.
Craig specializes in the representation of
clients involved in complex commercial disputes. He has had
extensive experience in representing individuals, corporations
and governmental agencies in a wide variety of domestic and
international commercial disputes in arbitrations and administrative
proceedings, before judges and juries, and in the briefing
and argument of appeals, in courts and tribunals across Florida,
and in federal and state tribunals across the United States.
He has developed a particular expertise in the defense of
corporate clients involved in multi-state, class-action litigation.
Craig is a member of The Florida Bar (Trial
Law; International Law; Business Law; Real Estate; Probate
and Trust Law Sections), The American Bar Association (Litigation
and Antitrust Sections), The Association of Trial Lawyers
of America and The Maritime Law Association of the United
States. Craig has earned Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating
