Carlos was born in Managua, Nicaragua in
1977. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in 1999.
In 2002, he obtained his J.D., with honors, from the University
of Miami School of Law where he was awarded a Dean's Merit
Scholarship and the C.A.L.I. Award for International Finance.
Carlos was also an Articles and Commentaries Editor for the
International and Comparative Law Review, Vice-President of
the Hispanic Law Students Association and Vice President of
the International Moot Court Board. While attending law school,
Carlos clerked for Aballí Milne Kalil, P.A. during his final year.
Upon his admission to the Florida Bar in
2002, Carlos joined the firm as an associate, where he works
primarily in the litigation practice. Carlos is fully fluent
in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
