Marifé Nazario was born in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and raised in Puerto Rico. She earned her B.A. degree in 1993 from Duke University, thereafter earning her J.D. degree in 1999 from Tulane Law School, where she graduated with a Certificate in European Legal Studies and served as Managing Editor and Board Member of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. In 2000, Marifé earned an LL.M. degree in International Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of London. She is licensed to practice law in Florida, Pennsylvania, Missouri and Puerto Rico. She is a native Spanish speaker, and is also fluent in English and French, and proficient in Portuguese and Italian.
Marifé focuses her practice in the areas of corporate and business law and business immigration. Prior to joining the firm, Marifé served as counsel to Visa, Inc., Latin America and Caribbean Region, and practiced corporate, commercial and business immigration law with large U.S. and international firms. She is a frequent speaker on business immigration and I-9 issues and has published articles on various business and immigration law topics.
